and after checking why the left crank keeps wanting to fall off and doing a search online, it would appear that they are shit cranks. So i need a replacement for my SS roadbike (Carrera Subway Zero)
Can I simply buy a Shimano set, drop two rings and do it that way or would i be better plumping for a sugino......as much as i like bikes i've not paid attention to much over the last few years and all this is starting to get a bit confusing

good shout, after posting on here last night "wh do my cranks keep coming loose" I did a search on Truvativ and once i looked at the offending arms current state once i got it off the BB, i have to say i'mless than impressed, considering I've ridden the bike less that 50 miles
i had to replace a Truativ triple on a new bike after a month as it was shot, fitted a deore and it lasted years. would not buy any truativ cranks since based on that.
