Hi Folks, could anybody point me in the right direction of a good MTB club near Walsall because there is only so many miles i can cycle around Cannock on my own before i get bored and bury my bike.
I'm looking to have a go at the welsh sites.

Try joining your local CTC.... they usually have 2 rides a week

the only problem is that 98% of the clubs listed are road racing clubs and not MTB clubs.
CTC = Cyclists Touring Club.
Re the club finder:
selct Region and Discipline by ticking the boxes. Under Home Country, select England then a Region box opens underneath that. Select West Midlands. On the Discpline boxes, tick everything MTB related. Then select list results rather than the default show-on-map. Shows about 30 clubs.

Many years ago Daves Cycles over towards Brownhills way used to do group rides, mainly at the Chase but also evenings up at Sutton Park. Were a really good bunch and great fun but last one I did was when I lived in Rushall about 10 years ago!
