[#692785]

I am after some new shoes that I can use for the commute and for off road. Ideally I would like them not to pee in water unlike the fabric Specialized I currently wear. Also sub £70 would be nice. I have looked at the DHBs on Wiggle and the Gearex on CRC any other suggestions??
Cheers

Shimano M182n don't have any mesh so should be quite water resistant.

Try before you buy though as they really didn't fit me very well and like foxy I ended up with some super comfy but very water permeable BG Comps.

Anything that dosn't have any mesh on the upper or any air scoops in the sole will encorage water to roll off, you need overshoes or winterboots and full length mudguards with flaps otherwise if its really wet.

Sorry didn't read the water part - oops - Why dont you wear waterproof socks ,thats what I do IMBO for commutins and Off road and works out cheaper I think than trying to get waterproof shoes - Also get the thinner and more vented ones as they dry out quicker!

I have got sealskinz but it's for the times I am caught out 😆 I think ones with mesh for breathing will be ok and use an overshoe in winter.
