Spot whats missing!

Any advice on what to go for? I've got some 2.35 high rollers (1 maxxpro and 1 supertacky) but i think they will be a bit too draggy. Also cant really be bothered with tubeless and i hardly ever puncture.
I've only ever used maxxis before and wondered if i should give something else a go e.g. schwalbe, conti

Itching to get out....

EDIT: apologies for the crappy phone pic.

I know you fancy a change away from Maxxis but give the 2.25 Ardents a look. I really love mine. It's a fast rolling, comfy tyre with a tall casing and more grip in the mud than you'd think they'd have by looking at them (although they're not the best choice for really gloopy mud).

They're great all round trail tyres and they don't weigh that much either. I run them at 35psi and I've not had a puncture in months. Actually, I think I've only had one since I put them on last July. They're wearing ok too. The rear's looking a bit tatty now but I have a tendency to lock up and slide the back around quite a bit.

well the only advantage (for me as i dont puncture often) i can see is a slight weight saving. maybe ~50g per wheel. (tube weighs 180g whereas strip weighs 50g+60ml of sealant). And considering rim strips/sealant would be ~40 quid i don't really see the point.

You can run lower pressures giving better grip
Lower rolling resistance

Why buy stans rims if your not going tubeless?

if you were really itching to get out you'd put on any tyre you had lying around.
