Hi everyone, I am in the process of buying a new bike. I am thinking about a steel hardtail for manly cross-country riding & maybe a race or two.
I have been looking at the cotic soul.
Can anyone help me or make other suggestions?
Thank you

I'll suggest again the Kinesis Decade Versa/Virtue, or whatever they call it now. Cracking bike that reminded me of my splatterpaint '88/89 Explosif, Tange Presige.

I think it may have been discontinued, however here is a real bargain if you're looking for a small frame

IIRC there was one in the classifieds not too long ago

Love my 2017 P7 for pretty much everything (except racing). Does 30+ milers in the rough and rocky Pennines as well as slow, steep techy stuff on Calderdale's finest cheeky trails. Super versatile, totally reliable and very fun.

Stanton Sherpa is worth a look too. If I were to buy a cross country style steel frame with decent geometry then I'd pick the one I like the looks of most between the Soul or Sherpa.

I've got a Cotic Soul and I'm a man. My wife has a Cotic Soul too - she's not a man. ๐Ÿ™‚
