So I bought a job lot of DX lights through ebay a year or so ago. One of the lights is mega dim and essentially useless, I've tried swapping batteries over etc but its still duff. I got a refund from the vendor but he didnt want it back. I cannot find these on the DX site, does anyone know where they are??
Or does anyone know how to repair my existing one..
its just a bit of soldering so have a go, buy the cree led off dealextreme and go from there .. its about £10 max!
yeah I was thinking that, dunno which bits to buy..
I've looked but never found the head units on DX. So unless you want a spare battery (not a bad thing if you've got a job lot), Magicshine UK is actually cheaper (and you'll get it quicker).
If it was me, I'd be tempted to do with the newer model with the plastic battery and keep the old one as a spare.
