Any advice about doing this or staying at home. This year is about touring in the wrong place at the wrong time. Anyway, any and all help is very welcome

mudguards.
puntureproof tyres.
warm normal (not lycra) outdoor clothing.
get out and do it attitude. cos one day, you wont be able to.
