As a luddite trying to get a gps loaded with a route and then following it is beyond me. On a phone downloading is easy.
However i saw a video of a Sony smart watch using ViewRanger. The watch alerted you if you needed to change direction and gave you an arrow to follow.
I thought that this coupled with a map would be a good thing.
The screen on a gps is too small for me to try and follow a dot and you can't see the screen on a phone due to glare.
Am I right?
Ps if it's not good for route finding it's still good for lots of other stuff.
