I'm looking for some inspiration for riding trails in and around Dunbartonshire / Argyll. My usual haunts are parts of the west highland way, Queen Elizabeth forest park, Loch Sloy loop in Arrochar and also the firetower trail in Lochgilphead. I'm sure I'm missing out on good riding elsewhere, any suggestions please?

ac505 - Kilpatricks, Stirling, Glennifer, Arran.

some good books - the Kenny Wilson one, if you can track it down (Mountain Bike Scotland - The Highlands), Bike Scotland Trails guide by Andy McCandlish and Richard Moore, Scotland Mountain Biking - The Wild Trails by Phil McKane

Ben Lomond is great fun if you don't mind a bit (a lot) of pushing. ๐Ÿ™‚
