Weather looks good in the lakes this weekend. Wondering about exploring the stuff at the northern end of High Street or east side of Ullswater with my lads (big 11 and small 13). What are those tracks like?

The figure 8 over askham common, pooley bridge, howton are great.
Not too technical or big climbs.

This.
What kind of riding have you done with them before?
My 11 year old could easily do some of the big days out and the technical stuff, but the 10 year old not at all. Depends on physical and attitude.

Plenty. Both would happily tackle a 60+ road ride (older one has done 100 before :-)); they've been round all the Lakes trail centres and some natural trails round the back of Skiddaw/Blencathra and round Grizedale. I was just wondering how rideable the various lines on the map are but it sounds like they're ok.

Thanks for the input ๐Ÿ™‚

There'll be a few more pics later but our internets seems a bit broken tonight . . .
