them trails shown by red diamonds on an OS map, legal to ride?

AIUI the red diamonds don't make any difference. Some are on bridleways, some on footpaths, some on RUPPs, etc.

a. nothing. except there aren't enough in some areas and there certainly isn't enough tight technical singletrack er.. anywhere
