we are heading to machynlleth for a skills course this weekend and were thinking of doing a quick stop at nant yr arian on the way. havent got time for the big loop but could possibly fit in the summit trail, or definitely the pendam trail. are they worth a visit? just looking for a play about really so fun/technical bits would be good...

Well worth a visit and well woth doing the Summit trail if you have not got time to do the Syfrydin which is my favourite route at Nant.
Flow in buckets. You can do all of the 2 shorter routes very easily in one loop, look at the map and you'll see how they fit together.

Nice options are to rerun the Italian Job and/or High as a Kite from teh end of the Summit. Adds another short loop on the end.
