As per the title really, have dabbled in some 4hr enduros over the winter and am now looking to do something a little longer. Was tempted by Mountain Mayhem, but got talked out of it when I heard it was round a field, so looking for some good singletrack etc something equal to gorrick stuff would be good
Looking at possibly pairing up with a friend. So having that option would be good.
Currently looking at:
Gorrick 100
Twentyfour12
Brighton Big dog (unfortunately falls right in the middle of my holiday, so most likely not doing it)
Mud Sweat Gears
TORQ in your sleep
Anymore that people can recommend?
Erlestoke 12 is great, great course and vibes
24/12 and Thetford Dusk to Dawn are good ones (although the D2D has been very wet 3/4 times I have done it....)
The Wiggle Enduro 6 at Catton Park in May is a good event too and might be worth a look, even though it doesn't fit into your original request, as it's too short.
Not done MS&G, but the others on your list are all excellent events.
Mountain Mayhem is a fun event. Don't let the course put you off - it's definitely got some fun bits, but it's more the atmosphere that makes it a great event. Besides, for those seriously thinking of doing 24 hours, at 14 hours in, in the middle of the night, most people are grateful that there's nothing to trip you up.
I've done 5 x 24/12, and all three of the Torq in your sleeps. 24/12 is a good course, great atmosphere, lots of special touches that pop up to add some fun (chasing the bloke covered in lights in the torchbearer, the midnight jazz singer on the hill, the ice cream van...). Torq one is smaller and more low key, typical Gorrick style course (wooded singletrack sections with linking tracks) - it's my local(ish) one so I feel I have to go!
EDIT - Also done a couple of MM and a couple of Enduro 6's. And a D2D. Good in different ways, but 24/12 is my favourite.
Erlestoke 12 is great, great course and vibes

So, you've never ridden an event longer than 4 hours, and you don't want to do this 24 hour event because the course is too easy. 😛
Erlestoke 12 is the best course I've ridden.
No fuss events usually have good courses with a few challenges along the way.

Yep makes the 12 hours go quick cos your having so much fun on the singletrack. 🙂
