This is not too far from home - worth a cheeky expedition? I can see an obvious loop which looks good. Anyone been out there?
I cycled over to the reservoir there a few times when I was younger but that was on a road bike. Not been over there for years as I don't live down there at present. Pleasant scenery within a stones throw of the outskirts of Swansea. There's some good routes around the Sarn Helen roman road also.
Give it a go, get the OS map out and go exploring. Often find some good routes that way.
Its about a mile and a bit from my front door so will give it a go, just looks very cheeky from the os.
