Just trying to open the gpx file from issue 167. Scan the qr and I get taken to a page which is just a screed of (I presume) waypoints. Not super useful. Am I missing/doing something wrong? I usually open gpx files in OS Maps if that helps
I was able to do it previously, about 3 weeks ago maybe. The download just won't work anymore for me though, even the updated version is no good. It's a bit annoying to be honest.

How to Fix and Download the GPX File
Use the Correct Link: The Singletrack editorial team uploaded a corrected, fully formatted version to their community forum. You can access and download the functioning file directly via the official Singletrack World Issue 167 Thread. (I can't get this to work, it tells me the file has expired)
Desktop Workaround: If you downloaded the raw file and it won't open, save it to a desktop or laptop computer. Manually rename the file extension by adding .gpx to the very end of the file name. This forces mapping software to recognize the format correctly.
Alternative Method: If you still cannot access it, you can view similar community-uploaded variants of this exact Shropshire loop on Trailforks' Long Mynd Region or via Komoot's Long Mynd Classic Route, which both feature the route's famous Minton Batch singletrack descent.
Ken, I can't help with the .gpx, but I know my way around the Long Mynd fairly well. Give me a shout if you fancy a meet up. If you've not been before, it's well worth doing Minton Batch which the recent route ommitted.
Rename from filename.gpx.html to just filename.gpx and it should work
I don't know why they aren't just added as public routes to Komoot or similar.
Blimey, that's a lot of hoops to jump through.
