my 575 carbon swing arm has developed play. On inspection the bond has come loose where the drive side carbon chain stay joins the main alloy pivot. No cracks or anything just where the two different materials meet. Anyone had a successful repair done? Betd said they will take a look on saturday.
Also would a medium heckler fit a 5' 11" bloke or does santa cruz come up small? Cheers.

Too small IMO, my brother had a medium Heckler and it was very short. ETT is only 575mm. I am 5'11" and would get a large (19") if I were to get one.
god...
someone i know had this happen to his 575 as well, ill ask him to see what he did.
If you have the receipt send it back, it will get replaced under warranty. If its second hand speak v nicely to lbs and see if they will blag it for you. T
Pretty common failure point i am led to bleieve. One of the lads from the club had this happen to him on the first day of an alps trip. He had his bike from new so asked if it could be replaced with an alu swingarm as he had read a number of stories of other 575 swing arms failing at the same spot.
If it is second hand i'd just be totally honest with the distributer (silverfish) and you may be lucky enough to get a discount off a replacement part, this unfortuneately is one of the perrils of buying second hand.
What's the warranty on these? Mine is doing the creaking under pedalling loads thing. I've eliminated everything and am starting to think it's the bonds in the rear triangle.
Bought new Nov 09...
