I know it depends on many factors eg terrain / weight /riding style etc but just wondered how low people go before they are plauged by pinch flats on a regular basis? Also ...do you tend to keep pressures equal or lower on the front ?
How low is TOO low
it depends on volume, terrain, riding style.....but if you dink a rim you needed more air.
I don't often ride tubes, but have a new-ish bike that came with them - low 30s in front and high 30s at the back works well for me in general - that's rolling with some weight, mind, and using 2.2 RQs. Less than 30psi at the rear would feel a bit squishy, but it depends a lot on your weight.
Back in the day I used to run 55psi for some reason. Think it was down to learning to MTB with a bunch of roadies.
About 6 psi in this..

Nice looking machine there, Druid. Your pic got me thinking, just how fat would the tyres have to be to provide a sufficiently low pressure footprint to actually ride on water? A la Bigfoot and the like...
30psi Rear and 25-30 front dependant on the terrain,
35 front
40 rear
Any less & it's puncture city.
12 front 15 rear
30psi front and rear
obviously depends on your weight
About 38 - no tubes, much less and I get rim strikes
CX race wheels at around 28 front and rear, going tubs next season
CX race wheels at around 32 front and rear, going tubeless this season
I weigh 73kg and ride "light"
