Well, in an act of kindness she put my slightly damp MTB helmet in the firing line of our conservatory fan heater, and the polystyrene has sort of 'scarred up' and my peak deformed...
Oddly, she didn't seem too happy for me to want to buy a replacement 😐
(Goes to check car brake lines)
SO the moral is, gentle heat on plastick life saving devices peeps...
