I thought i'd leave it a day before posting to see if I can make contact with the seller, but to no avail (I presume he sold it pretty quickly)
I was browsing the classifieds yesterday and unbelievably one of the bikes we had stolen is for sale in Leeds.

Its not a 2010 P7 its a 2009 version, brakes are custom oro 24's with straitline leavers, wheels are hope issue ztr355's (team green free hub) and full XTR (rear mech had not been ridden prior to theft)
It was 1 of 3 bikes stolen (as well as my car), the police know which gang stole the car (well known for hanoi thefts for high performance cars) but have been unable to gather enough evidence to prosecute.
I cant believe anyone who knows about bikes would buy a bike with full XTR, 2010 Talas FIT and custom team issue hope wheels for £700 and not think its slightly dodgy. If it has been bought by someone off here or someone you know please bear in mind that it's stolen 😀 The bike has the saddle and seatpost off my other-half's stolen bike so this guy must have been in contact with all our bikes.
Police have been made aware, we had a visit last night. Conversation went along these lines - "Cant prove its yours unless you see it in the flesh", "we wont buy it for you", "try and buy it back yourself and let us know", 'if its worth what your saying its worth just buy it back" etc etc.
The police completely missed the point of why I reported it, I could easily try and make contact and go round with some bombers but I wanted it dealing with properly. Oh well, you live and learn.
