he used to be a crappy Trek and crappy Marin dealer. I could go in there and not be tempted by anything apart from the Goretex sale rail.
He didn't even do 0% finance.

now I won't be able to go within a mile of the place. Gnnnn.

I'm so weak.

Lexiekay - haven't you replied in here yet? This was a case of the LBS starting to stock lapierre and Lexiekay buying one within a month... Spicy 316 - looks great, can't wait for my go.

Having spent a weekend with the Lapierre lot at Glentress (Ragley is going through Hotlines), I got to check the bikes out. They're amazing aren't they. Looking forward to a loaner Froggy/Spicy later this year.

What do you mean crappy Treks?

I meant the crappy Treks of old. Back in the days when Mike didn't offer easy terms or a choice of counters at which to be served.

a choice of counters at which to be served.

I think that the new CIZ (Customer Interface Zone) is actually a viewing platform so that Shaun can keep an eye on his empire.

Mine now does Cube, La Pierre, Kona, Merida, and I saw a Turner rep in there the other day. It's a very dangerous place for anyone with a credit card....

I'm trying out the 920 DH and Froggy 518 this weekend at Innerleithan. You could say I'm just a bit excited.

Lapierre used to build my road bikes when I lived in Dijon back in the 80's
