I've just bought a turbo trainer for use with my mountain bike and was wondering if people generally use the gears on the bike or the bar mounted turbo trainer lever to control the resistance. I was thinking maybe leave the bike in the middle rings front and back and just use the remote lever on the trainer, but I could be wrong?

i use both. imo there is a difference between high low & low high (if you follow)

I can turn the biggest gear/ hardest setting too easily ๐Ÿ™

Resistance is futile, ahem sorry. I use both too.
