OK, what tyres for....
my winter commute? fixed 'cyclocross' bike. currently running 28mm marathon plus's but want something a bit more grippy and a bit wider. Cyclocross tyres? any good recommendations. Mainly tarmac and occasional shingle / gravel cycle paths / bridleways.

i like small block 8s and 35c michelin world tours.
conti twister are good in mud but the edges are too sqaure to lean them over on tarmac.
racing ralphs seem nice - but only had a spin on a mates bike.
landcruisers are going to get suggested soon... (i've never used them so won't offer an opinion)
