Love the scenery and the bike looks like it's probably loads of fun to ride ... but pretty? Nope. Don't think so.

1) It's a full suss
2) That shock looks like it's been borrowed from a bigger bike
3) Something else
🙂

The saddle's a bit low, is the frame too big for you?
It looks like there'll be a fair amount of oomph going into the mid-span of that down tube.

Scenery's pretty, though.

Edit: Scaredypants sees it too.

There's some keen eyes and bright minds here and no mistake... I was hoping to keep you guessing, but alas I've been foiled so soon.

As regards saddle height, If you saw the trail I was about to ride down, you'd appreciate I need the clearance for my nappy

Strimmer is out of string the now, but I'll get busy with the nail scissors at daybreak!

Fingers crossed, downtube should hold better than oranges of old; in the meantime, I'm gonna have nigh on illegal levels of fun!!

Now keep the pics of your steeds coming...

if you'd said

My bikes backdrop is prettier than yours...
you'd have won definitley.

Fortunate is winning so far, nice n simple. IF is too much of a mish mash, turner is logotastic as are some others, SC is luminous green.

MrSmith that's a nice looking road bike 🙂

And I think the OPs is the best looking mtb posted so far. Not tarty or anything just to the point and clean looking. I do have a weird obsession with raw or chrome bikes though.

Before I saw the logo, I thought that was a Knolly Endorphin. Linkage is different, but still looks pretty similar in that colour...

Is that yours? How is it?

I'd love to have a try on one of those. Look like a lot of fun.

EDIT: just read the other thread - sounds like you've had a bit of a nightmare with it. Glad you got it all sorted in the end though. And it looks even better in black...

Might as well post my "prettiest" bike, oldish school DH build! Does need single crown forks but can't really afford or justify them at the minute. Looks great in person when its polished up with some brasso.

That Colnago looks pretty, and Mr Smith's Pegoretti is getting there but needs straight-blade forks to work with all the straight lines on the decals 8)

Road bikes can look pretty, if pretty means elegant and flowing. Mtb's tend to look purposeful rather than pretty IMO. Putting knob(blie)s on anything reduces prettiness in my book.

not sure any of those are actually 'pretty'

Well now, though my testosterone is wrestling me all the way, due to the vintage of that beast, I rather think it is (pretty in pink) damn you hipster's!!

Also of note is the Lucky Strike Ti, which is blatantly shaking it's well formed rump bits (as far as a static photo can portray) and the dog from earlier on, which although not particularly pretty, is blatantly straight pimping, in a kind of slippers, bathrobes and digestive biscuits fashion.

Changed the crankset to Middleburn since the build, which I think is more in keeping with the overall look
