I saw that it was a keeper on facebook... what is it?
Someones shy? 😉
I'm sure someone will spill the beans, but I'm keeping schtum for now...

Looks great. How does it ride?
Is it in the bushes behind that halfords gas pipe bso? 😉
OP - looks like the work of a certain custom maker from austrailia to me....
decendence??
I was just about to post the same thing monkeyboyjc 😉
I'll get my anorak 😕
best get mine as well then.... 😕
Love the scenery and the bike looks like it's probably loads of fun to ride ... but pretty? Nope. Don't think so.
1) It's a full suss
2) That shock looks like it's been borrowed from a bigger bike
3) Something else
🙂
I hope the downtube's stronger than it looks
The saddle's a bit low, is the frame too big for you?
It looks like there'll be a fair amount of oomph going into the mid-span of that down tube.
Scenery's pretty, though.
Edit: Scaredypants sees it too.
OP.. When was the last time you mowed the grass??
I know its been wet but FFS.
It looks like there'll be a fair amount of oomph going into the mid-span of that down tube.
It'll be alrite till it breaks!
😆 @ cloudnine.
There's some keen eyes and bright minds here and no mistake... I was hoping to keep you guessing, but alas I've been foiled so soon.
As regards saddle height, If you saw the trail I was about to ride down, you'd appreciate I need the clearance for my nappy
Strimmer is out of string the now, but I'll get busy with the nail scissors at daybreak!
Fingers crossed, downtube should hold better than oranges of old; in the meantime, I'm gonna have nigh on illegal levels of fun!!
Now keep the pics of your steeds coming...
Kick on, enjoy yourself.

I have a new one but no idea how to post a pic. It's quite nice though -:)
Liking the simplicity of yours.
If you like simple then may I present my new IF Steel Deluxe singlespeed..............

Apart from one possibly two this looks like an ugly bike thread. No pretty bikes at all, just a couple that arnt ugly.
Sorry, but I Ache is right.
I've seen prettier monkeys' bums than most of the bikes on here. 🙂
Beginning to drool, sometimes sexy doesn't need pretty as a crutch...
None of these strike me as particularily good looking. But then mine are all fugly, so.
I'm too sexy for this bike - too sexy it hurts

I like mine better 🙂

if you'd said
you'd have won definitley. My bikes backdrop is prettier than yours...
Fortunate is winning so far, nice n simple. IF is too much of a mish mash, turner is logotastic as are some others, SC is luminous green.
turner is logotastic
yeak I am thinking about taking the logos off the rims for a stealthier look.
MrSmith that's a nice looking road bike 🙂
And I think the OPs is the best looking mtb posted so far. Not tarty or anything just to the point and clean looking. I do have a weird obsession with raw or chrome bikes though.
My bike is prettier than any of yours and bigger tougher and heavier as well. Don't spill its pint

or ask if it's proud of the traffic cone heritage of its mudguards.
indeed and if it's just ferried you up and down some spiffing trails it's the most gorgeous thing in the world, to you, just don't expect everyone to agree with you if you post pics of it 😉elephant man ugly some would say but not me....
fwiw all my bikes would no doubt be judged mingers by most on here.
Jeez that s-works up there is a bit wrong.

Apart from kimbers and tj, do you have different bikes for actual riding and getting dirty an all. My bikes are never this clean from the moment tne wheels hit ths dirt for the first time, cmon you're making me feel bad...

Wonder if this will work. Can I just point out I did get it dirty last night.
Rather like the Cove above.
Love the Orbea Orca (pity cranks dont match groupset)
V nice though
Love the Orbea Orca
+1
It's an old pic - now has SRAM Red Black cranks.
The pedals really set it off. Don't you think...

Whyte 146 s / x
Is that yours? How is it?
I'd love to have a try on one of those. Look like a lot of fun.
EDIT: just read the other thread - sounds like you've had a bit of a nightmare with it. Glad you got it all sorted in the end though. And it looks even better in black...
you can say that again. Many interpretations of pretty
[img]
That Colnago looks pretty, and Mr Smith's Pegoretti is getting there but needs straight-blade forks to work with all the straight lines on the decals 8)
Road bikes can look pretty, if pretty means elegant and flowing. Mtb's tend to look purposeful rather than pretty IMO. Putting knob(blie)s on anything reduces prettiness in my book.
not sure any of those are actually 'pretty'
The Colnago road bike is lovely and the first bike in this post is too.
Well now, though my testosterone is wrestling me all the way, due to the vintage of that beast, I rather think it is (pretty in pink) damn you hipster's!!
Also of note is the Lucky Strike Ti, which is blatantly shaking it's well formed rump bits (as far as a static photo can portray) and the dog from earlier on, which although not particularly pretty, is blatantly straight pimping, in a kind of slippers, bathrobes and digestive biscuits fashion.
More shaking of the other bits of the Lucky Strike here 8)

Changed the crankset to Middleburn since the build, which I think is more in keeping with the overall look
(and some of the Cove here)
