My first FS bike, Specialized Camber Expert Evo 2015.
Tried a FS in the Alps (GT Force Expert) and really liked it. I decided I wanted one with a bit less travel for the Surrey Hills and beyond.

Did a 40 mile ride out from home to Leith Hill and did the new link track to Summer Lightning.

I think this is the first time a bike has exceeded my expectations as soon as I got on it. I ended up riding down stuff I would normally be mincing down ๐Ÿ˜€

Sram 1x11 is great but I think I will change the ring to a 32T

Lovely moggy! ๐Ÿ˜€

(There's some agricultural machinery blocking the view of your cat in that first pic, and the second one could definitely do with cropping, shoddy photography, frankly.) ๐Ÿ˜‰

Is the rear wheel bigger?
Is that the next wheel fad?

I can't wait 'til the future gets here...

Yeah, nice. I'm more of a dog person, though...

Much better colour than last year's model and much much better brakes. When your BB starts creaking it'll take a few quid to fix it. Fit a Praxis Works adapter and you'll be golden. Quite tempted by one of these myself...

Nice. Was just admiring the colour of the new Cambers on the Specialized website this morning.

Mate of mine had one of those in the alps when we were there last week, he was liking it. Just watch that dropper post, was a bit wonky last week on his.

Does a cat reading Singletrack also count?

Tell me the rear wheel is the same size as the front and it's an optical illusion!

Thats nice, didn't know they would have flat bars in the future... Is your suspension setup correctly? Looks like you have more travel to play with, or are we all running bikes like that in the future too? ๐Ÿ˜›

Loved my old camber and that looks awesome in those colours... With Shimano finishing brakes and SRAM 1 X 11 I can see me having an expensive xmas present this year!

Smudge appreciates all your kind comments ๐Ÿ™‚

She lost a fight with a fox earlier in the year which cost quite a lot but she is fully recovered now.

I definitely wanted the XT brakes as I have them on my other bikes.

There may be a chance that I will get an insurance payout in the near future. I decided to risk it and buy it now and get some good rides in before the end of the summer. Got a holiday in the Lakes coming up as well.

Both wheels are the same size!

Have you invested in all the armour/pads so you can look totally rad coming down leith hill? ๐Ÿ™‚

Was the insurance payout for you or the cat?

Oh, nice colour too. All truly nice bikes should have some orange on them.

I've a 2011 26" Camber and it's bloody fantastic. It climbs incredibly well and descends at least as well as my Marin Wolf Ridge.

Also, I think your cat is attempting to move in to my house as there was an identical black & white moggy outside my door this morning begging to be let in.
