Got a second hand Ridgeback MX14 for my nephew. There was a bit of play in the cranks so stripped it down and found the bearings in the bottom bracket have collapsed with pretty much nothing left of the cage. Anyone know what size they are and where I could get em? Ridgeback have the contact page disabled on their website so no joy there.

Usually 1/4" in loose bearing BBs, not had one of those apart, but have never come across anything else in 20ish years of bike repairs.Provided the cups and cones are ok, don't bother with cages, grease the cups, push the bearings in, and leave one small gap.
