Need some suggestions for good events / goals in 2010.
Have raced my arse off for the past 3 years and now have a 3 month old daughter to take up a lot of my time. This means throttling back significantly and if I race / get a pass out then it has to be something worth doing from a fun & riding perspective that can ideally be combined with a family weekend away. Just moved to south side of Kettering so Thetford is handily close if they do another summer series.
I heard the Brighton Big Dog was excellent last year
Enjoyed Kielder 100
Spring Merida with the ELBNO is usually good
Any other suggestions?
The alternative is feet up and get fat but that's never really been me

The Big Dog was outstanding - really, really great event and great atmosphere - really worth the drive in 2010 for you! The Bonty 24/12 is also excellent - hoping a weekend pass is available for you 🙂 and the Bristol Bike fest is also excellent fun - and for 12 hours it's worth the pass!

Bristol bikefest is my favourite event of the year. Good course, good atmosphere.
