Just wondering if anyone else is like me and finds that music pre-ride can alter the mood/feel of the ride?
For me before a DH its Metallica - Enter Sandman and if its just a woods or regular ride, usually something like Muse.....
or maybe it's just me...... 😈

a bit of Marillion, strangely enough!
Before the first 24/12 I had a few minutes in the car with RATM at full blast to get me in the mood. I hammered away from the line like a man riding for his life along with about 400 other people then had to spend about 15 minutes standing about like a lemon in the push-a-thon that was the first section of very tight singletrack... with a headache.
Most rides are now preceeded with a chorus of "juliehaveyouseenmykeysjuliehaveyouseenmyphonejuliehaveyouseenmyshades..."etc
At the next HtN we hope to have a bagpiper to get everyone in the mood.
Or some euphoric trance electro nu-rave big beat techno.
