The Cairngorms is a big area though southeast can be very diff from the north and west. Anyone been up lately?
Re to vitus - mines getting on a bit now 2012 vitus zircon 29vr - I like it and it's surved me well, 2nd chain, new grips and bottom bracket all I've really had to do to it. Taken some hammer. Great xc machine.
Ps just looked up what your going for, v different spec to mine shimano over SRAM parts but looks a good bike for ££
