Easyjet insurance is cheep and covers mountainbiking. However they don't judge a broken arm to be serious so I had to walk arround with it for a week untill I got back to blighty so I won't be using them again!

I have had Snowcard before. I have never used then but spoke to others at the resort who have and they rate them. Check what the holiday insurance company means by Mountain biking. Theirs may not be the same as yours.

+1. I think most insurance companies work on a level from 1-4 that rates activities by risk. They'll see DH'ing as a lot more dangerous than normal mountain biking.

Snowcard for me...

Reason being, I'm quite complicated to insure because of pre-existing issues. Snowcard are always quick and professional when dealing with that, frankly nobody else has been. And that's good up front but also, if a company can't answer questions quickly and well up front, how good will they be if you ever have to make a claim?
