I come back to the UK a couple of times a year to see friends and family, normally my mate lends me his spare MTB so we can head out for a days ride but this time his spare is missing a pair of forks so I can't borrow.
Would anyone near Derby be willing to loan me their spare MTB or road bike or even both, any day from Sat 1st Oct till Monday 3rd, I arrive on the Friday and fly back on the Tuesday? I would be willing to pick up and return clean, leave a deposit/passport etc, pay to replace any damaged parts (worst case although I ride light), plus pay for the loan itself.
Or to loan a pair of 120ish 15mm forks, or a standard QR front wheel, so my mate can put them on his bike for a ride.
I big ask maybe, but worth asking I feel none the less.
No worries if not as we'll head to Cannock or Llangdegla and I'll have to hire an MTB from there instead.
Unless there are some other options?
