Anyone got any experience of these? Seems like it should work for a 1x9 setup but perhaps a bit spindly?

think my bro had a very similar one, it didn't work very well (bent easily, didnt hold chain etc). i'd avoid and put the money towards a tried and tested one - dmr, goldtec etc
