Following on from a great weekend at Afan while a friend did the Wiggle Dragon ride his next sportive is either the Jurassic Coast one or another one in Wales.
Finding somewhere to ride in Wales is easy but can anyone recommend anything near to the Jurassic coast or a little further north, possibly as far up as Blackdown?

anyone? Someone must live/ride down there.
Jurassic coast is a bit vague and to be honest in my view the Jurassic coast is between Weymouth and Poole in Dorset (good riding there by the way). I think the organisers are being creative with the naming.
Anyway, STW did a piece on Exmoor, possibly a bit far North for you. Buy an OS map and plan your own route, unfortunately for you the coastal path is just that a path. You could just go walking, it's spectacular.
My mate lives in lyme Regis and there is the grand sum of **** all down there
hmm. Thought so.
What about Blackdown just north of Honiton? Exmoor is a bit north.

I used to ride the coast path fairly regularly, along the Jurassic coast from Exmouth heading east..
It's cheeky as a bag of monkeys but the terrain is varied and interesting enough with some ace stretches of singletrack and some good technical challenges too in places..
