Inspired by a number of recent articles, experiences and most recently the Welsh Ride Thing i am keen to explore the area around Llyn Brianne and Llanwtyd Wells (inc Irfon River north of llanwtyd and the doethie valley).
Anyone with personal experience of camping wild (good sites etc) or recommendations for trails around there. I am aware the Doethie Valley gets very good write ups in any articles i have seen.

Not sure how set you are on the wild camping but if the weather turns bad these hostels are well worth a look.
