Not sure if Uk Bike Skills are open for business over Easter, but they use Woburn woods which is near MK and I have heard only good things.

Booked a 1-2-1 session myself later this month

Hi there,

THE best people in the area operate out of Aston Hill near Wendover. Ian Warby started the hill and teaching under the FireCrest banner about 14 years ago. Ian works for the CTC and has developed the only recognized certificate for mountain bike skills tuition. look them up at www.astonhill.com or www.firecrestmtb.com

All the best.

Contact British Cycling. 0161 274 2000 They do a lot for kids through their GoRide programme. My son is busy for every Sunday of March doing track cycling at Herne Hill Velodrome with GoRide. Best of all it is free and track bikes supplied free as well!
The GoRide events take place country wide, so your area should be covered. I remember them doing a MTB skills course for your lad's age during the holidays last year at Leith Hill , the lucky kids! My boy was just too young ( 9) so could not go ๐Ÿ™
Like I said, they do events across the country. If you don't get any joy then email me and I will find out through my son's cycling club if they have some leads for you ( Sutton Cycling Club- very one the ball youth cc).

Check out summit mtb club as they run a number of mountainbike go-ride sessions throughout the year
http://www.summitmtb.co.uk/goride.htm

Based just outside of amersham they use the same course i use for my coaching http://www.atthesummit.co.uk so there is plenty to challenge the younger riders - i have seen a 6 year old fly into one of the big bombholes with no fear where adults will ride around.

contact Simon or Alison and they can let you know when the next session is taking place.

Cheers,

Andy

It's a bit out of your way but on Saturday 20th March the North Wales Mountain Bike Association are promoting sessions with Nigel Page for under 16's.

Contact coachingATnwmbaDOTorgDOTuk for further details.

You could try Get Mountain Biking.

They're running childrens' courses over Easter at Woburn Trails.
