Just woke up on the sofa and found out it's 10:30. Not happy, thought it was at least the 3am which would have been excellent and meant hours of sleep, but now found out I've been asleep for 2 hours and now wide awake.

Bugger.

Jetwashing my bike down after yesterdays ride only to find that once it had dried it was nearly as dirty as before.

Far more seriously though, I made spaghetti bolognese but realised upon eating the meal that I had bought pasta sauce rather than bolognese sauce, which has much more flavour. I am monumentally disappointed about this!!!

Drove to a riding spot that was good last year, ruined by motox bikes, singletrack is now 20ft wide and covered in ruts,no berms,no jumps and no steep technical, rode there for an hour, was bored and then went to my usual play area and had a very good time, dry and dusty=fun

After crashing at the swinley sex party and spraining my wrist then having an SPD moment a week later and wrenching the same wrist even shifting up into the big ring hurts, can't even get out the saddle without winceing in pain 🙁

Roadie'ing is actualy quite plesent, legs feel plesently numb afterwards.

I hope that was to open the gate, otherwise it's inexcusable!

With great excitement I got the master copy of my CD from my producer today, only to find that he had burned the same track twice, and thus missed one of the tracks off. Not the end of the world, but a bit disappointing really.

After a fantastic ride yesterday, that left me shattered. I awoke this morning feeling really sparky.
Only for my wife's MS to take a bad turn and me feel guilty for feeling so healthy 🙁

Riding all morning then on to a BBQ for some meat only to wait over two hours to chow down. I nearly chewed my own arm off.

Puncture, then awkward walk home for like 2 hours, wearing cycling shoes/cleats, and discovering dog shit on them when I got home.

Finding a lovely trail for the CX this afternoon only for it to stop abruptly with a stream crossing. Unexpected wet feet 🙁

Good trail though despite this 🙂

Then i arrived back at my car to find a cracked windscreen so have shell out another £80 to get a new one 🙁 expensive day once id noticed my rear shock bushes have gone and my pikes sprung a leak too lol.

Wound from recent trip to bmx track got infected, despite cleaning repeatedly and applying various creams and ointments. Guessing I'm going to have to go and get some pills tomorrow. It hurts.

yesterday and today.
Excellent ride in the hills, coming back home, cycling in the cycle lane, lady starts to walk across the lane, panics, runs backwards and forwards, finally turns around and takes me out with her huge shoulder bag. Covered in scratches, badly bruised hip, bent rear XTR mech, and walking like John Wayne.
To top it off, my passport won't be back from Visa renewal for 2 more weeks, which means I'll miss the hockey tour in HK, for which I'm the captain.
Seriously peeved off

5 mile into a 42 mile ride I bent me rear mech.
Lost use of lowest gears.
I then realised that the bottom bracket bearings I had cleaned & regreased were notup to the job.
I also went over the bars due to my chain coming off.
Great ride though apart from that.

Realman - Real men don't use creams and ointments, infact they don't get infections. Have you tried MTFU?

In all honesty, I would be disappointed if you served me that. If it ain't cider from Somerset, it ain't worth the bother. Sooner have a cup of tea. 8)

@realman, I'm with TSY... came off near 40km/hr, road rash all over.
Just showered, and exposed the skin to Beijings finest pollution. MTFU

fell off my bike on the way to work, riding up the cobbled ford I've had no problems with for the last 6 months.

And rode into the back of a car on the way home.

Doh!
