Superstar's customer service

Those words don't make sense; not together.

I was about to say Superstar brake pads.

Some people seem to like them. Inexplicable.

Now I have less time but more money, so I favour cartridge and a once very x years job with the hammers and drifts.

Not the place for it but I feel I should muster a token defence. Have any of the detractors actually worked on a recent (high end) Shimano cup and cone hub? Requires two 5mm allen keys and your fingers to make adjustments now, must be the fastest, simplest way to adjust a hub. Keep it adjusted and occasionally greased and you can chuck your clumsy great hammers and drifts in the bin! ๐Ÿ˜€

Santa Cruz pricing?
Planet X/On One QC?
Superstar anything?

Just to back up a bit.... which of these is supposed to be contentious? They are quite cut and dried topics.

It's a bit like putting a purchase from Dave Hinde in the contentious category ๐Ÿ˜€

PX/O-O got to be one of the biggest and most regularly debated.

I used to be a Superstar detractor but I like their Homegrown range approach, and the actual kit looks well finished and is nicely (and minimally) packaged. Either I am getting soft or they are raising their game.
