Dear All,
I'm Spending a week on a course at Moreton-in-Marsh next week and I'm wondering is there any decent off road riding near by please. There appears to be bridle ways I can link up but can any one reccomend any good woods for playing in etc?
I'm also happy to drive a short distance from M-in-M for a ride too.
Bourton's Woods and Downs look like they may have some fun riding in and on.
Cheers
Make sure you put out all the fires 😀

not sure about mountain biking but there is some fantastic road biking to be had round about Moreton - lots of rolling hills on quiet roads! When I've been on courses there before I've taken the road bike and barely went the same route twice in 3 weeks.
Thanks Guys,
Pepper- I'm preventing them from starting on an FP course!! Been and done managing incidents courses in the past and got to slay the beast!!
Rivet- If I had a road bike I would mate thanks. Alternatively I might just add some propedal and air in the tyres of my shova and get some miles in on the road.
Winchcombe looks interesting, some descents and bridleways, anyone familiar???

Ashton MTB aren't far away near Eesham, why not go up on their website and see if you can tag along on a couple of their evening rides?
They know all the best routes around these parts

on an FP course!!
Sorry to hear that..
Mind and take plenty red bull and stay away from the ugly bugs ball. 😉
There's loads of stuff about up near. As Pepper sed go to ww.ashtonmtb.co.uk and hook up them them on the Tues they'll put up next weeks ride later this week.
Failing that get an OS map of the area and just go ride some bridleways, there's a great one that runs from the the end of 5 mile drive opposite troopers lodge garage down to blockly. Put that in your route and make the rest up from there.
Drop me and email later this week and I'll know what my plans are for next week then as theres a chance I'll be in the UK.
There is a small group of riders in Shipston. You would be welcome to tag along with us for a ride, but the riding around here is bridleways with road links. If we want to play in the woods we visit Cranham. When are you down here?
