Right, I'm trying to sort out a friend's road bike and struggling with the front mech.
Shifting down to the little ring at the front (2 ring setup) the chain will occasionally fail to engage on the little ring, instead sitting between the 2 rings. I've tried everything I can think of, but it keeps happening.
If it makes any difference, the shifter and mech appear to be 3 ring compatible(?)
Any help appreciated.
