I like Blower's [url=

Clough video[/url] best.
Inspired me to go find it and give it a try about 3 months ago. Glad I did. What a crackin descent!!!
I genuinely take my hat off to you fella for hitting it at that speed.

Blower - that's some riding and like the jump/manual over the steps at the end. Its a pity that video's cant give a true reflection of just how steep that must be as your skill makes it look almost too easy. We need to see some standard riders wobbling down the whole thing to really appreciate that.

Love the vid's

GW- i suppose your living 298miles away aswell, ha, What we ride is slow steep tech stuff, thats how we get our kicks, some riders are good at fast smooth tracks wi great jumps, while we prefer more challenging terrain, different ball games for different riders. We're not pros at the end of the day, and also not afraid to show our crashes. The videos are raw and havent been tainted up nicely, makes it more REAL! get yersen out wi us and show ya face and show us how its done, wi out mincing of course! pleeeze! be a great vid!
No idea how many miles away I am, (nr Edinburgh if you wanna work it out). I have ridden Wharncliffe and loved it, it's a great wood/area with so much in a small space and easy/short push ups, if it were closer I would def spend a lot of time there, I no doubt will ride there again some day, no idea when. From what I've seen/ridden, Wharncliffe does have some nice techy lines and is a hell of a lot of fun but IMHO (for me) it's really not all that steep! fortunately I have much steeper/techier descending a frction of the distance away. I do like big jumps, fast/rough/steep/slow as long as it's fun/challenging it's all good. 8)

Thanks for the offer (genuinely). I'm happy to meet up if I'm ever going there anyway (I like do the look of a lot of what you ride and good local knowledge is invaluable for a good day out anywhere new). I'm not a big fan of being video'd or even photographed TBH. got enough mates locally obsessed with making gash mtb videos I'd rather just be riding ๐Ÿ˜‰

if you're ever up SE Scotland(ish) way give me a shout and if I'm free I'll try to return the favour.

Fair play GW,wharny aint steep no dont think we said it was,,only in places but if you dont know the place's,then its hard to find.been going there for many years now and still find somet new every time i go.and its fairly local to me.
some of the lines on the other videos are from wharny n steep secions, but the stuff in Hebeden is far steeper, the one where i go over the bars "thrills spills" is one of em,but on jimbobs and shaggy's shows em off bettter.

parin clough is a steep ****er on the straight line, but still looks nowt on video.

GW theres some stuff they did near inners cheeky stuff a local who told em about it which they rode bit back which was meant to be steep they said.think going back up maybe start of next year to do it again.

Goodwork blowfish, cant wait to get down your way for a ride again, although im sure its your turn to bring the 'southern fairy orange riding pansy brigade' up here for a day in the lakes ๐Ÿ˜‰

As i said the other day, we should involve a few beers and a curry. then we can be real northeners!

Shag/Blower - couple of weeks is Christmas ๐Ÿ˜€
if you mean the week between Christmas and New Year then I am likely to have a few days off.

Ps. You didn't happen to get your user names dogging did you? I know (from experience ๐Ÿ˜ฅ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ) Wharncliffe's quite popular for it. ๐Ÿ˜‰
