Has anyone managed to swap the clamp orientation on one of these? To explain, I now have 3 of these on my roof bars which means that on one side the clamp/lock is facing away for you making it quite difficult to lock as its a bit of a stretch to get it the key in. Looking at it they should be interchangeable as both sides of the base are the same, but I can't get the small cam type lock out to remove the clamping bar. Can't find anything on the net and if I try any harder I'm likely to fk it!

I've done it on the non-discovery one, but can't figure out what bit you're talking about. There were some pieces that could only be removed with certain bits in certain orientations. hmm, i'm not sure i'm being much help here...
I did manage, think once the beer head had lifted a little I gave it another go and you are right there is only one position that you can remove the cam (the part that locks the lever in place to stop someone just unhooking the rack).
