Road for me, am awaiting delivery of this frame
http.//colnago.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/C59-DISC-INCI.jpg

Full Dura Ace DI2 9070, with C35 wheels shod with GP4000s 25mm tyres.

Still to choose bars/stem/post etc but the only carry over parts from my old bike are seat and pedals.

Very happy about it 🙂

Edit, frame is not disc version, prefer the look of traditional brakes.

I'd get the Surly hubs on my Niner anodised red. 🙂

And I'd buy one of them Engin's, mounted on a revolving plinth, to replace the TV in my lounge.

Gooner, have a look at the deda superleggero/a stem bar combo these go well ,seat post is also available. However colnagos post is a good looker too.

I genuinly don't know as the bike I am building is pretty much all I want (sub £2k build) anything more would be wasted on me.

But would probably add a mid travel full sus like a rocket or a DMR Bolt

Plus a full on DH bike to the stable/quiver/armory/other nonsensical words for bikes

Ask me again when the Yeti SB75C frame comes out.

Will certainly be interesting when the C comes out, see if it makes it "come alive". Certainly the reviews of the SB75 so far say its not the best middle ground between a SB66 and SB95, comments suggest you should go one way or the other, and not try and sit in the middle.

I was torn with the SB66c, with the SB75 being imminent when I got it, but so happy I went with the SB66c, it fits perfectly with what I want it to do. The bike industry can **** off trying to take 26s away from us 🙁 (or rather those muppets who keep asking for 650B without having tried one so bike companies rush out to make them). Sure Yeti will have a SB76c ready and dailled for when my SB66c is ready for retirement though hah...

Engin for me
A nice 953 ht 26"
Rs8 uno
Royce bb
King headset
Tune hubs
Stans Podium mmx rims
And some sort or xtr electric rear gear ( hidden battery )

Bit unsure as to have a Sid or rigid fork

And maybe a specialized sworks enduro in blue as a big bike

Oh well best start saving

I already have my dream road bike - Custom 853 frame and reasonably modest SRAM Rival, home built wheels on Royce hubs, Brooks Swallow etc. Just a lovely bike.

MTB-wise Cotic Rocket with XTR and some form of Fox bounciness.

Cheers

I'd probably be quite boring and just get a top spec Giant TCR road bike to replace my not quite top spec TCR. And a top spec TCX to go with it.

Off road I'd probably just get a Solaris with some nice carbon wheels and 1x10 XT on it. All a bit boring and very attainable really.

Either that or I'd get sata cruz to build me a one off custom 650b Chameleon in carbon 🙂

Orange boy- sadly Engin is no longer doing steel so you really would have to throw some cash at him to get one 🙂 best start saving for one of his ti frames

The bike wouldn't be that expensive, but paying for Greg Fuquay to come out of bike building retirement and shipping him and his family over to the UK so he could build the titanium hardtail we discussed twenty years ago would probably up the budget. 🙂

Money no object I would test as many enduro/all mountain bikes as I could then based on that I would commission a bike designer and McLaren to build me a carbon frame.

I would then buy my way into the RS black box program for suspension.

Try all the tyres I can then commission a tyre manufacturer to make my own tyres for different conditions.

Not sure what I would do about wheels.

Transmission would be a Shimano XTR 11-42 with raceface next sl cranks and some custom CNC parts.

I would get that carbon KES dropper post to.
