Eyeing up a 2011 Mondy Foxy R, any things I should be worried about? Have read some stories of pivot bolts coming loose etc (bad prep?)

Want something that can climb and decend!
Anyone own one of these?

(Previous owned rides: Stumpy, Trex EX8, Spesh Enduro 2010)

Very good bike i thought but also v low and long. feels different to most trail bikes and some ppl dont getvon with them.

Rear is flexy but a bolt yhrough qr wd probly help.

i have the Foxy 2010 and its been a brilliant bike for both climbing and decending. Yes the bolts came loose so were replaced with steel ones and I agree this was a problem with the prep. I replaced the On/Off (Own brand) wheels with stans crests with evo pro2 hubs as the origonals were made of cheese! Since 2010 I think Mondraker have upped the spec on all models so there shouldnt be any worries

just bought the 2011 foxy R 1 week ago and very happy with it after the first ride. Moved on from a specilaized pitch and in comparison the foxy is much lighter/more efficient for climbing but just as much fun on the way back down. The low bottom bracket gives it a very confidence enspiring riding position and and its not too long so its a bit easier to fling about than the pecialized was as well.
Not ridden it on any really steep/tech trails yet but ive no concerns about its ability to handle them.
I was looking at an orange 5 or Zesty originally but couldnt resist this as it had 1k knocked off the price.
No regrets and very happy with it so far
The top shock bolt was loose when i got it home but looked like it had been greased and not tightend properly at the store - ill keep an eye on the others
