As many of us are off work for the festive season - the Monday Night Pub Ride will be in the AFTERNOON on Monday 30th December.
2pm start from the Strawbury Duck at Entwistle - [url= http://www.thestrawburyduck.co.uk/ ]BL7 0LU[/url]. As a lot of people are off work - the pub car park might get a bit full of walkers so maybe park down the road a bit and ride up??
Planning on riding for a couple of hours and then have a beer or two in the pub before riding home. Lights would be a good idea!
The pub are pretty relaxed about walkers / riders with muddy boots but they might have an issue if we are caked from head to foot in mud! Bring a change of clothes!!
So who is coming?
Judging by the weather forecast, you'd be better off meeting at the pub, going straight in the pub and staying there!!
This is not a part of the world that is unaccustomed to a bit of rain! Its not a coincidence that there are so many reservoirs here!
That said, the harder its raining then the more beer money you might want to bring!
