Trying to work out if my monarch RT3 is cavitated or if it's just a noisy damper.
On the bike, riding, you're aware of the sound of the damper cycling, it's a lot loader than a monarch plus RC3 i had, sound kind of like an kasima RP23 when the air seals are running dry.
Removed air can, cycled damper, not too much noise until until bottom out until there is a bit of a gurgle, but throughout the stroke feels smooth enough.
All knobs and dials are having the effect they should.
Relubed air can and reassembled, shock does feel smooth and does what it's supposed to.
Just debating whether it's worth giving the damper a fresh bleed.
Are everyone elses reasonable quiet apart from a little whir or pretty audible?
