We can go from The Horseshoe in Kearsley (M26 1FT) and head up through Moses Gate if any of the locals want to lead. If not I’ll do one from The Church.

Kearsley is an easy one for me to get back from regardless of motorway closures. Need to check other commitments but it's a provisional yes!

That's what you want us to think but it looks more like you're on secret military manoeuvres to me...

I strenuously deny that i’ve met any senior Israeli army officials while sat in my speedos drinking elaborate cocktails

Gonna struggle tonight. Came down with a hacking cough* in the night thanks to people at work not wanting to blemish their sickness records.

*Pro tip, Tramadol has a remarkable ability to resolve cold symptoms. Probably not enough to ride a bike though 🙁

Who is in then?

We could do with a guide who knows the trails north of the Horseshoe. Plan B is that we do Clifton and Philips/Waterdale/Hurst, but from the other side.

So far I'm in but I'm going to be at work for a couple of hours later than usual.

Conveniently that's less than a mile from the Clifton side.

Not so conveniently my bike is at home.

Have a good ‘un tonight! I’m temporarily gloating before normal axle-deep filth service is resumed next week 🙂

I've had to wash the bike twice and the back of the car looks like I've been growing potatoes in it.

I was diying again. It's been a chore. I'm in Wales next week but normal service will be resumed
