Can't tell if they could take a bike (minus wheels, seats down). Just the regular hatchback 5dr (don't like the estate nearly as much). Can anyone shed any light?
If my old nissan micra could take 2 bikes plus people (you could actually push it to 3 bikes plus 3 bodies if you packed carefully) I'm sure the skoda can!
I used to fit my Orange five in a 1998 renault clio. wheels off back seats down, and front passenger seat pushed forward!!
I've wedged it in my mother in laws hyundai i10 or whatever it is, but it's tiny. you'll get a bike inn fabia no problem i'd have thought.
i've had both my hardtail and dh bike in the back of my 2001 Almera and thats with just one wheel removed so i would imagine you should be able to squeeze your bike into the back of a Fabia with both the wheels removed unless what you have is a penny farthing!!
Used to get 2 bikes with just front wheels removed placed in a X in the back of my mk1 fabia so no worries with removing both wheels and fitting.
You could fit in 3 or 4 frames & wheels if you went to the effort of removing both wheels.
+ danti,
used a Mk1 fabia for bike transport duties for years. Back seat down, front wheels off, one bike on top of t'other pointing in opposite directions with old bedsheet in between. Loads of space around to pack for a weekend away.
3 bmx's and 4 big guys fit in an original fiat panda. I think you'll be ok.
Excellent, thats what I wanted to hear, thanks chaps!
