I borrowed a Specialized Tri Cross Sport from my brother and have a Minoura V150 trainer but the bike doesnt fit into the locks on the trainer like my normal bike does. Do I need an attachment? I'd really appreciate the help.
Why not? Is it just that you need a certain type of quick release or do the dropouts clash before you can lock it in position?
The frame should be the same spacing as a normal road bike frame surely - no different just because its a kind of cross bike?
The spacing is fine. I'm not bike-savvy so I'm not sure what dropouts are. The problem is, I have disk brakes at the side and a lever and the lever doesn't fit into the nut.
The frame dropouts are the section of frame where the rear wheel axle locates in the frame.
If the lever doesn't fit the into the nut, then try a different one. Can you try the quick release from the other bike that fits fine?
Any chance of posting a photo?
A lot of turbos come with their own supercheapy QR as they don't accept 'posh' ones.
What he said,
Generaly these dont fit.

Standard shimano style ones work in my minoura trainer, but that's no gaurentee. Have you got the QR the right way arround? One of the 'clamps' has cut outs to allow the lever to exit (on the disk side), the other doesn't (on the gear side).
Using a Tricross (although an older one with rim brakes) in a Minoura myself. The turbo came with a cheapy QR as above, that I've just left on it, clamps in fine here.
It makes my bits go amazingly numb after about 20 minutes, but that's another story ๐
