Does anyone know what the minimum insertion is on the 350mm 27.2 version of this post? Like this one:

http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/components/seat-post-seat-pin/product/review-ritchey-wcs-seatpost-11-44532/

I have Googled and can only find a write-up which says that it has the 'shortest insertion in its class'.

Does anyone have one that they could measure and let me know please? It would be much appreciated.

Insertion depth is more a requirement of a frame than a spec for a post.
And posts should insert to 1/2in past the bottom of the point where the top tube intersects the seat tube.
This is around 100mm.

What he said ^ no good having an indestructible post if your frame cracks, min insertion is as much for the frame as the post

That's great thanks. My intention was to work out of I could protect the frame while also benefit from the length. I will get my tapemeasure out when I get home!
