I've commuted by bike all winter, the weather this week is fantastic, the local trails are finally actually rideable and are running sweet, I'm a key worker and can commute on trails like this:

But I need to rest cos I tweaked my pesky hip flexor and it now needs resting (I tried riding through it).

😭

Please feel free to share any iliacus & psoas major rehab / stretch tips you may have.

Sorry, only here cos I read the title as "Milfed" and wondered.. well, you know.

Wild garlic is out in full whiff at the mo, passed a load of it with my son on Sunday and he hadn't heard of it before. Nice to pass these things on .. and the story of how the smell of it makes my shoulder hurt because I crashed badly into a bed of the stuff once.

I'm miffed that in my upcoming period of WFH and furloughness I was looking forward to a daily lapping of an empty Swinley (hoping they'd just shut the carparks or something - I live about a half mile away). Nope, some **** needed an ambulance on Saturday - Forest closed to bikes.

Here's hoping my joints will stand up to near daily runs, and my running shoes with a rip in the liner will last the distance.

Realised my ramblings not helping the OP, but I have a similar question - what stretches and so on should I do to complement my running, so I remain bike fit?

I've just started running and the boost its given my cycling in terms of overall fitness is quite remarkable.
