hi looking at putting a pair of middleburn duo's onto my cotic x 68mm shell what length axel and any suggestions of what bb and where from

Yes by coincidence I've got that combo on the Rock Lobster and guessing you'll need a 113mm (might get away with shorter, we've only waved a tape measure at it).
Have tucked into a delicious Weissbier so not taking the cranks off right now... might never get them back on and it's cx racing in the morning...
My Middleburns, on the HT with 68mm shell, use a 113.
UN54 are decent BBs, but getting harder to find it seems.
cheers both i think i can use 110 for the double and un54's on offer at crc so as long as winstanleys don't let me down i'll get a couple of those this week to see me through the next 10 years and more 😀
